How it works
How the Virtuals signal is measured, transparently.
We index X
We pull original posts and quote tweets that mention Virtuals. Replies and plain retweets don't count — only your own words about the protocol.
We score by reach
Your score is driven by views and likes — how many people you actually reached and who valued it. Posting volume alone barely moves it.
We filter the noise
Per-tweet caps stop one viral post from dominating, only your 100 best tweets count, and accounts below 10,000 score or newer than 30 days are screened out.
We rank everyone
Every indexed account is ranked by score on a public, transparent leaderboard — updated from a fixed snapshot.
What counts as a Virtuals tweet
- Original posts
- Quote tweets
- Replies
- Plain retweets
- Generic “virtual” mentions
How the score is built
Score is reach-weighted: every view counts, and a like is worth far more — quality over noise. The act of posting adds only a little, so you can't farm your way up by tweeting constantly.
Caps mean one viral tweet can't dominate — consistent, genuine reach wins over a single lucky hit or spam.
