Comment-free Zone
WordPress was originally built as a blog system and because of that has a lot of functionality built-in for comments. You might however not need that at all. If that’s the case for your site, simply installing and activating the Comment-free Zone plugin will suddenly make your site a lot cleaner.

How Comment-free Zone works
Comments are pretty much everywhere in WordPress. This plugin removes them everywhere. Here’s what it does.
In the admin it removes:
- the Comments menu item from the admin.
- the Discussion settings page.
- the comments column from the edit posts and edit pages overview.
- the comment section from the admin bar.
- comment support from all post types.
- the comment meta box from the post edit screen.
On the frontend it:
- disable comments on all post types, they no longer render, you no longer have comment forms, they’re gone.
- disables pingbacks and trackbacks.
- removes the output of all the comment blocks.
- removes the comment RSS feeds.
The plugin has zero configuration. You just install and activate it, and then you’re done.
