However, the student must declare the minor through their advisor. For example, when coding the minor, advisors may utilize the required courses MATH 2413, MATH 2414, MATH 3433, MATH 4390, totaling 18.75 hours with 6 hours advanced.\r\n\r\nA minor in statistics consists of 18 hours of STAT, 6 hours of which must be advanced, 3xxx or 4xxx.
