| I've been watching bits of stuff lately - on Saturday, I caught quite a lot of the pilot for Alphas. I was impressed by 1. David Strathairn, that they got him that is. 2. how happily blatant it was about the X-Men influences.* I'd only seen a scene before that looked like a BT infinity ad. I saw a chunk of the secone episode, but it wasn't enough to compete with going to bed. Also, one scene at the end of the first episode made a Rachel/Cameron shipper out of me, I went to look for fic, found that there wasn't much, got spoiled for some of the rest of the season, didn't care. I haven't watched Homeland, and I think that'll be it for me. BUT I did watch The Lying Game and ( the one after promCollapse )I've also seen bits of Chuck (they're now showing it on one of five's channels, so I may eventually get to pick back up where I left off) and The Big Bang Theory (I like it so much more when there is Amy and Bernadette in it.) *This may have inspired me to crack open my DVD of XMFC, which is so disappointing when it comes to extras AND the sexism. | |

| The X-Factor. Judges' houses 2. ( My takeCollapse )Downton Abbey ep 2 calmed my ruffled nerves :) I enjoyed this more than the first episode. ( Read more...Collapse )I saw the season 3 Chuck finale! ( Read more...Collapse )And then apparently they're showing season 4 on Living !?!? which I don't get. (Both Living and the decision - Chuck is one of Virgin 1/Channel One's few new imports.) I presume "Channel One" will show it eventually. I'm not howling in rage, more like huffing. Tonight is all about catching up online. I saw the first It Takes Two Strictly ( Read more...Collapse ) And I watched Life Unexpected, with it's glossy, sweet, set in TV land dysfunctionality. Next, I will watch Spooks, and watch it live from next week on! | |

| Since Monday morning, every time I've sat down at the computer, I've run out of time to post my reaction to TV* - my time online is limited, but my time in front of the telly is less so, so this post has grown, although the reviews have got shorter. Sunday: Downton Abbey (or Gosford Park for TV.) ( Read more...Collapse ) I watched the second of The X-Factor's boot camp episodes. ( Tears, jumping and impossible percentages.Collapse ) MONDAY: I watched Chuck 3.18, ( aka the ILU JOHN CASEY showCollapse ) GIVING UP ON THE DAY THING NOW: I watched Life Unexpected 1.02 (it is soothing for the brain, especially as it admits its audience knows what it’s up to). ( Read more...Collapse ) Watched Spooks, despite iPlayer suffering several meltdowns. 902. ( My reactions.Collapse ) Watched Whites, amusement to cringe factor was positive, so I may watch that again. Ugly Betty. ( Yay! AgainCollapse )And I watched the second episode of Leverage last night and I had a smile on throughout. I'm trying to decide whom I love the most: is it Parker for her crazy? Hardison for his funny? In truth, it's probably whichever team member was last on the screen. * sherlockbbc is going to have to go off the default friends page. | |

| Leverage is going to be shown on Freeview YAY! (This makes up for Nikita being on Living.) Chuck is still maintaining its high standard. ( 3.16Collapse ) ALSO I am now on AO3. So far, I've imported the last three fic I've posted.reposted at Dreamwidth, and the more I do it, the easier it becomes, although I'm nervous about making a huge mistake, as one always is with something new. I hope to get up to date with what I've posted at Dreamwidth (so not all my fic) and then, again here's hoping, I will be better about reposting fic, and most of my fic will be available here, at Dreamwidth, AO3 and ff.net. | |

| Keep it up, show! ( Read more...Collapse )Yesterday I finally found out that ( casting spoilerCollapse ) in the Deathly Hallows film(s). Yes, I managed to go this long without knowing that. I am the excited kind of intrigued. I've also borrowed Tin Man on DVD, so there will be a rewatch in the nearish future, plus a couple of shows are coming back... | |

| Chuck 3.14 ( Read more...Collapse )Five US had the Emmys, or a truncated version. Sadly, they seemed to have dropped the supporting dramatic actress category, which was 50% of why I watched the show (drop the British winner for the package you show in the UK, why don't you?) and I sat through many winners from shows that I don't watch. I enjoyed the opening sequence and many of the presentations (Ricky Gervais was the bestest) and the George Clooney (I didn't know he did that, but like most things, he speechified well), and I gave up by the time the movies and miniseries awards began. | |

| This week, among other things,I watched Vexed. Won't be able to watch the next (last?) episode live. ( Read more...Collapse )Chuck 3.13 (???) ( Read more...Collapse )I went to see The A-Team and my inner kid was satisfied. It was entertaining enough ( Read more...Collapse )Ugly Betty 4.03 = LOVE. ( Read more...Collapse ) I love this show like I don't love Chuck. (Why are there not more Ugly Betty icons? It's such an eye-popping, colourful show! | |

| There's all sorts: vids, fanart, picspams and icons, but mainly it's fic with some commentfic from the Awesome Ladies Ficathon. On the latter, these are just my picks from a first skim, there were lots of fics that I saved the links for 'later'. What was nice was that there were ficlets about characters in fandoms that don't get a lot of attention, but are obviously beloved, as well as the awesome ladies in bigger fandoms. But not all the fic comes from that source...
