| I didn't watch ER last night, because Big Brother bumped it to eleven and I was shattered. I'll catch it on Thursday - I watched a snippet of the trailer, which whet my appetite, but I want to watch the full ep when I'm in a state of wakefulness. I'm still not writing fic, by the way. However, I did come up with a list of prompts based on the guidelines of the schmoopfest ficathon, but never posted them there, due to time constraints and lj frustration. Although one could post prompts without being obligated to participate (see the note above about not writing) it's probably a good thing I didn't get around to it. (Also, I always understood schmoop to mean a fic where characters say 'I love you', and the comm seemed to be geared towards fluff/happyfics in a more general sense.) Seeing as I came up with these prompts (of stuff I would currently like to read) I'll put them out there. If they do inspire you, link me to the fic! ( prompts!Collapse )PS It's nice that lj seems to be working again. | |

| This is a greedy post. But I've had a real habit of saying that there should be fic of X,Y,Z, in my reviews recently. So, I thought I'd make a list of what I've talked about, because compiling such things makes me happy, and for anyone who might be interested. ( The listCollapse )- Tags:alias, bones, challenge, crime scene investigation, dawson's creek, er, greed, numb3rs, the innocence project, the o.c., tv, ugly betty, veronica mars

| I'm back for now (but will probably be offline again in just over a day) and wading through the comments, trying to add the links as quickly as I can. Anyway, it's worth having a look at the current list of fanworks featuring female characters selected by their creators. I don't know if I'll ever get round to a full list of fandoms covered, suffice it to say that it's getting more and more varied, from Weiss Kreuz to the X-Files. BtVS is very well represented (lots of Buffy, Faith and Dawn fics - more are welcome, but so would be Joyce meta, Anya fic and Potentials icons. Or whatever.) Feel free to join in if you haven't before, I may not be able to add the links immediately, but they will all get done eventually! Three links, any fandom, any genre. | |
