    Bio

    I am a developer advocate, leading a team at Automattic to make a better, easier developer experience for all extenders in the WordPress community….so that WordPress can continue to shine for the people who build sites with it every day!

    Prior to joining Automattic, I was Developer Outreach Manager at Pantheon, Sr. Developer at Universal Music Group and a few small agencies, and owner of a small digital agency for arts organizations.

    I speak at WordCamps, support the #WPDiversity initiative, and generally try to spread the open source joy. I’m also a member of the Drupal community, where I support Drupal Diversity & Inclusion, the Community Working Group, and Core Mentoring. I’m passionate about diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in free and open source software communities.

    I’m writing my first novel. When I’m not working on open source or fretting over my novel, you can find me gardening, playing tabletop games of all kinds, or playing the guitar badly.
