Bio

Hi, I’m Sarun Raj, a team leader and director based in Kozhikode, Kerala, India. I lead Cloud Spring and Store Pro, an IT agency specializing in eCommerce website development and maintenance — with a strong focus on WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, and Magento.

With over 12 years of experience in the WordPress ecosystem, I now focus on team growth, project delivery, client success, and strategic direction. While I started my journey as a web developer, my role today is about enabling my team to build high-quality, scalable solutions for clients around the world.

I’m also an active contributor to the WordPress community in Kerala — helping organize WordCamps and local meetups, participating in mentorship programs, and sharing knowledge with the next generation of professionals.

WordPress Origin Story

My journey with WordPress began over 12 years ago when I started building websites professionally. Since then, WordPress has been at the heart of everything I do.

Through my company,StorePro, I’ve led a team focused on building high-quality eCommerce websites, custom themes, and powerful plugins — primarily for WooCommerce. We’ve worked with clients across the globe, delivering solutions tailored to real business needs.

Over the years, we’ve contributed to the ecosystem by releasing a few free plugins in the repository and continuously sharing knowledge with the community through meetups, WordCamps, and mentorship programs. I’ve also had the chance to speak at Youth WordCamp and help organize events like WordCamp Kerala.

WordPress is more than just a tool for me — it’s a community and platform that has helped shape my career, and I’m always looking for ways to give back.
