👋 Hi, I’m Saad Iqbal — a passionate technologist, entrepreneur, and the founder of WPExperts. With over a decade of experience in the WordPress ecosystem, I’ve led the development of dozens of plugins and products used by 1.5M+ active users worldwide.

WordPress Origin Story

My journey with WordPress started over a decade ago, not as a developer — but as a problem solver.

I was running a small web agency and needed a flexible, scalable platform to serve my clients efficiently. I stumbled upon WordPress and quickly realized it wasn’t just a blogging tool — a robust framework that could build almost anything. I got hooked.

What began with customizing themes and tweaking plugins soon evolved into developing our products. I founded WPExperts with a simple mission: creating solutions for real-world problems for WordPress users. Today, we’re proud to be a Pro partner for Automattic for Agencies, with plugins powering over 1.5 million websites globally.

But what truly kept me invested in WordPress wasn’t just the technology — it was the community. The open-source spirit, the willingness to share knowledge, and the global network of passionate contributors inspired me to give back, innovate, and grow alongside it.

WordPress gave me more than a career — it gave me purpose, people, and a platform to build for the future.
