Bio

I’m a Custom WordPress Website Developer and Designer, SEO Specialist and provide additional services like Web Maintenance and Security, WordPress Hosting and IT Management – with over 16 years of professional experience in the industry. As the owner of Designworks NW, LLC I specialize in creating custom WordPress websites for small businesses, security, hosting and IT services, as well as analyzing SEO and implement strategies for increasing traffic to websites.

WordPress Origin Story

In 2005 I was introduced to web design while working for a small company based out of Tennessee and during my first year working as a freelancer for them I learned about blogging with Blogger.com and WordPress.com and in the process of learning about blogging I began learning how to design and build my own WordPress standalone website as a self hosted website. By 2009 I retired from my former industry and began my WordPress company and working full-time as a WordPress designer. As they say, the rest is history and now I have 4 employee’s and two freelancers and an S Corporation.
