    I’m a software engineer with 10+ years of experience building and scaling WordPress products used by hundreds of thousands of sites.

    I’ve contributed extensively to plugins like The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, working on everything from ticketing systems and payment integrations to performance optimization and large-scale architecture. My work has focused on building reliable, maintainable systems that perform well across diverse WordPress environments.

    WordPress Origin Story

    My programming journey began during my university days, learning C and C++ as a Computer Science student. That foundation eventually led me to PHP — a language I quickly grew comfortable with. And then came WordPress.

    Discovering WordPress was a turning point. It combined the flexibility of PHP with the excitement of building real products that people could use. What started as a fun experiment soon became a passion.

    I began freelancing in 2012, taking on small WordPress projects just for the joy of creating. Over time, that hobby evolved into a full-fledged career — shaping the path I continue to follow today in the world of WordPress development.
