    WordPress Origin Story

    I originally wrote by own CMS in the early 2000’s called BlurbBuilder (WAMP stack). It was a simple WYSIWYG editor that allowed the user to maintain blocks of multimedia content throughout a website via a central console. At that point, the World Wide Web exploded in so many directions and the idea of trying to keep the CMS up-to-date for security and features was a bit of a headache. Stepping forward, WordPress grabbed my attention and has allowed me to concentrate on building websites without having to worry about aspects that I may not have time to maintain.
