    WordPress Origin Story

    Once upon a time, in the distant year of 2003, the internet was a wild west of static HTML pages, blinking GIFs, and “under construction” signs that lasted longer than most TV series.

    Every hero needs a quest. For WordPress, it was the “famous five-minute install,” though for new users, it sometimes felt more like the infamous five-hour troubleshooting session (“Where’s the wp-config file?”). Yet, as word spread, brave bloggers everywhere joined the cause — sometimes motivated by the power to customize themes, sometimes simply by the irresistible lure of a “Hello World” post.
