    Bio

    I previously worked extensively with PHP and WordPress as well as plugins, but I am no longer involved in anything related to WordPress site or plugin development.

    WordPress Origin Story

    After many years running first a programmer training company and then a catalog marketing company selling tools for Visual Basic and .NET developers I decided to switch and focus on open-source, specially PHP. I worked with Drupal for 2 years and then was “briefly” hired in 2009 to work on a WordPress plugin after which I never looked back. I became one of the original moderators at WordPress StackExchange, and since then I have specialized in software engineering as it relates to WordPress.
