Bio

I’ve been passionate about technology since I got my hands on my first computer – an awesome Intel Pentium 2 with 256MB of RAM. How time has passed since then.

Today, I support my corporate clients in running their websites well, and help them make the correct decisions when expanding further online. Well, that’s my day job anyway.

When I’m off the clock, I enjoy a variety of RTS & RPG games on my PC (no; no longer a Pentium, thankfully) and mobile devices, and climb weekly at Camp5 (@michaellearnstorockclimb)

I can usually be bribed with coffee and cake.

WordPress Origin Story

I built my first website in 2010, wayyyy back in WordPress 2.9. It was nowhere near the workhorse it is today, but was certainly groundbreaking at that time. I found myself growing more and more interested in it, and started building simple websites for some part-time pocket money. That little interest grew bigger over time, and I got better and better at it. In 2014 I left my comfy job at Yahoo! Malaysia, and started doing WP web design & development full-time under the banner of Pixl Digital.
