    Catholic priest, programmer, amateur photographer, traveler. Currently working in the Rome diocesan pilgrimage office Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi, I often accompany groups of pilgrims to the Holy Land and other similar destinations.

    WordPress Origin Story

    Getting involved in the up-keep of the different parish websites of the parishes I have served in, I was looking for a good platform to work with. On one website I found that Flatnux was being used, but after doing some development for Flatnux I figured it was just too limited for my tastes and had too small of a community. A number of friends were telling me to look into Joomla, I tested it out but it was not as intuitive as WordPress and it was not very optimized with usage of resources. So I opted for WordPress, and I believe I made the right choice: WordPress has come a long ways and has become probably the most reliable and most utilized site / blog platform on the internet!
