    WordPress Origin Story

    Oh Jezz… Let me see… From what I recall, after gaining a client that was in the need for a CMS, I first started looking into Joomla. Granted this close to 20 years ago… Joomla, for me at the time, proved to be far too technical and hard to follow, among other things. That experience lead me to WordPress… There seemed to be far more people available to help me get up and running… There were certainly growing pains with WordPress. More specifically, plugin developers didn’t seem to test their code as often or something, because many times plugin updates would break the website. So, I learned not to update to the more recent version until it had been tested for a few weeks. Well, that’s my brief summation.

    Today I am happy to still be plugging away, and that I made the decision all those years ago to use WordPress. There is so much that WordPress can do now that really excites me and keeps me working in it! Thanks to each and every developer that helped make WordPress what it is today!
