Bio

I work at Automattic where I build tools that embody my core beliefs: bloggers and creators should own their content, control their online identity, and build direct relationships with their audiences, free from the walled gardens that hold their work hostage. I want creators to succeed away from attention-harvesting algorithms designed to maximize engagement at any cost.

Broadcasting from Brittany’s wild coast, where korrigans still roam, I prefer debugging to mischief-making. When not writing code, you’ll find me queueing up TV series, gardening, or losing gracefully at my kids’ choice board games.
