WordPress Origin Story

· In 1993 I sent my first email via Telnet.
· In 2000 I developed my first e-commerce with HTML + Perl.
· In 2006 I developed an e-commerce CMS with ASP.
· In 2008 I created my first website with WordPress.
· In 2010 I developed an e-commerce CMS with PHP.
· Since 2012 I develop plugins for WordPress and I only work with WordPress.
· In 2018 I’ve attended my first Meetup in Vigo, Spain
· In 2018 I’ve attended my first WordCamp in Pontevedra, Spain
· In 2022 I co-organize the Meetup in Vigo, Spain.
· In 2024 I co-organized my first WordCamp in Vigo, Spain.
· In 2025 our team at @dixitalmedia developed @factupress. It’s the first plugin for WooCommerce which sends invoices issued inside the shop directly to the Spanish Tax Agency. All other plugins connect to an ERP where invoices are issued. Why? Invoices must belong to the shop not to a third party company.
