Hi, I’m Ryan, the guy behind InfluenceWP.com and one of the guys behind ChangelogWP.com. I’ve been involved with WordPress since 2014 and run multiple successful agencies.

InfluenceWP is a passion project to help WordPress product creators boost their presence and reach more customers.

ChangelogWP is the #1 resource for changelogs within the WordPress ecosystem.

WordPress Origin Story

From 1997 to 2019, I worked through the Information Technology ranks, from an IT helpdesk intern to interim CIO of a high-frequency trading company, and then ran my IT consulting firm.

I began my journey with WordPress at the beginning of 2014 when many of my IT clients sought help building a website.

My WordPress agency was officially formed in 2016, and I slowly began to phase out my IT consulting business, which shuttered in 2019. I’ve since run multiple, successful niche WordPress-based businesses alongside my agency, and all are doing well today.
