    WordPress Origin Story

    Stumbled upon WordPress just as I was making the transition from developing sites in hand-crafted CSS+HTML+PHP to some kind of CMS, sometime in 2006. Developed a Drupal site for a customer with blood sweat and tears, and a WordPress site for another customer. Loved the way WordPress themes naturally fit the standards-based, cleanly coded way of working I taught myself. That clinched it, and I’ve stayed with WP for all my web development ever since.
