General Settings

To access General Settings:

• Click “ProfileGrid” on left side dashboard admin menu
• Click on “Global Settings” option
• Control will be directed to new page containing various global settings available for ProfileGrid
• Click on “General” link

These settings are related to various generic attributes and options for ProfileGrid:
Template: Allows for creation of new templates. To use it, copy and rename the “default” folder inside “[plugin root]/public/partials/themes” to
“[your current theme directory]/profilegrid-user-profiles-groups-and-communities/themes”.
Allow Multiple Attachments: This option enables multiple attachments for file upload fields.
Default WP Registration Page: When user clicks on default registration URL of WordPress, he/she will be redirected to the page configured here. Make sure that you have a registration form on this page.
After Login Redirect User to: After a successful login, user will be redirected to the page configured here.
All Groups Page: Allows for display of all the groups on front-end of the site in a single page. A great way to allow visitors to decide and sign up for relevant group.
Registration Page: It will add username and password to the selected page.
Profile Page: This will display the selected form as member’s profile page. Make sure it has profile shortcode pasted inside it.
Login Page: Displays the page that should act as login form. It should have the login shortcode pasted inside.
Password Recovery Page: This page will allows users to start password recovery process.
Password Reset Page: After successfully starting password recovery process, this page is the final step to reset lost passwords.
Group Page: Specifies the page that acts as renders for a “Group”, where users can see group details including registered members.
