How to Send Private Download Links after Contact Form 7 Submission

In this article, we will show you how to send your users private link download links after they submit your Contact Form 7.

Requirements:

• Prevent Direct Access Gold plugin
• Contact Form 7 plugin
• Contact Form 7 Dynamic Text extension

Step 1: Protect Your File with Our PDA Gold Plugin

Firstly, you’ll need to navigate to your Media Library and protect your desired file.

Step 2: Add a New Dynamic Field to Contact Form 7

Navigate to Contact > Contact Forms in your admin dashboard.

Under the Form tab, hit the Dynamic Hidden button.

In the displayed popup, you’ll need to:

• Define the dynamic field name in the Name field.
• Add the [pda_private_link] shortcode to the Dynamic value field.

Here is an example shortcode:

[pda_private_link file_id=25 download_limit=1 download_expiry=1]

Click on Insert Tag once you’re done.

Step 3: Insert the Dynamic Field to Contact Form 7 Email

After finishing adding a new dynamic field, switch to the Mail tab.

Here, insert the created dynamic field to your Contact Form 7 email following:
