Registration opens May 1, and from June 1 through July 31, readers of all ages are invited to join us for a prehistoric-themed celebration of books, imagination, and exploration. Whether you’re sharing picture books with your little ones, uncovering an exciting new novel, or exploring fascinating nonfiction, every page turned helps unearth a new story. This is a self-paced program, so you can participate whenever and wherever works best for you: at home, at the park, on vacation, or curled up in your favorite reading nook. Just pick up a book and start reading!

Why Join the Fun?

Reading over the summer helps build literacy skills, reduce learning loss, and spark creativity. It’s also a great way to relax, discover new ideas, and stay connected with your library community.

How It Works

• Track your reading using Beanstack (via the website or mobile app).
• Prefer pen and paper? Reading logs are available at your library.
• Earn badges and prize tickets as you log your reading.
• Each ticket becomes an entry into a prize drawing for your library location.

The more you read, the more chances you have to win! All reading must be logged by August 7, 2026. Winners will be announced on August 14, 2026.
