Post Planner
Plan, generate, and publish a month of WordPress posts on autopilot
Pick a brand profile, choose a 7-, 14- or 30-day schedule, and Post Planner writes and publishes every post for you. Review nothing, or review everything — the toggle is yours.

Built for the way you ship content

From a 5-minute setup to a month of published posts
Pick a brand profile
Post Planner reads your existing PostNext brand profile — tone of voice, target audience, products, banned terms. No profile yet? Spin one up in two minutes and reuse it across every plan.

Set the schedule
Choose your start date, plan duration (7, 14 or 30 days), publish-hour window in UTC, content language, and whether to auto-publish to WordPress and auto-promote on social. Drop in competitor domains if you want gap-driven topic discovery.

Review and create
See the exact credit cost before you commit. Hit Create Plan and Post Planner does the rest — generating posts on schedule, publishing them through the WordPress plugin, and optionally promoting each one across 9 social channels.

Six reasons Post Planner stops being another AI blog tool
Brand-voice grounded
Every post is generated against your brand profile — products, tone, audience, banned terms. No generic ChatGPT prose.
Competitor-gap discovery
Paste up to 10 competitor domains and Post Planner mines them for topics you have not covered yet.
Auto-publish to WordPress
Free WordPress plugin pushes drafts or live posts to your site through a one-time API connection.
Auto-promote on social
Optional toggle generates a social promotion post per blog article, sized and timed for each of 9 channels.
Multi-language content
Generate in English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese or Russian — all on the same plan.
Credits stay yours
Credits are reserved upfront and stay yours until used. Cancel a plan mid-way and unused credits return to your balance.
Post Planner is one of three planners
The same wizard powers Brand Planner for evergreen social calendars and Influencer Planner for solo creators. One brand profile, three planners, every channel.
Free WordPress plugin, one-time connection
Install the PostNext plugin, paste a connection key, pick draft or publish mode. That is the entire setup.
- Free on the WordPress plugin directory
- Supports draft mode for review-before-publish workflows
- Works on any self-hosted WordPress site

Post Planner — frequently asked questions
How do I connect my WordPress site to Post Planner?
Install the free PostNext plugin from the WordPress plugin directory, copy your connection key from postnext.io/account/api-keys, paste it into the plugin settings, and you are connected. The whole flow takes under 60 seconds.
Will Post Planner overwrite my existing blog posts?
No. Post Planner only creates new posts. Your existing content is never touched. Each plan generates a fresh batch of posts with new slugs and titles.
Can I review posts before they go live?
Yes. Set the plugin Post Mode to Save as Draft and every Post Planner post lands as a WordPress draft for you to review and publish manually. Or leave it in Publish Directly mode for full hands-off publishing.
Does Post Planner work on hosted WordPress.com?
Post Planner works on self-hosted WordPress where you can install the PostNext plugin. WordPress.com Business and higher tiers support custom plugins; Personal and Premium tiers do not.
What is a credit and how many do I need per plan?
Credits are the PostNext unit for AI generation. A typical 7-day plan uses 120 to 150 credits depending on post length, language, and whether auto-promote is enabled. The exact estimate shows on Step 3 of the wizard before you confirm.
Can I edit posts before they publish?
Yes, in two ways. First, every plan can be set to Draft mode so posts land in WordPress as drafts. Second, you can edit any post from your PostNext dashboard while the plan is running.
Can I run Post Planner for multiple WordPress sites?
Yes. Each site uses its own plugin install and connection key. Create one brand profile per site so each plan stays on-voice for its destination.
What languages does Post Planner support?
English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Russian. The Content Language picker on Step 2 controls the output language of every post in the plan.
Can I schedule posts for specific hours of the day?
Yes. Step 2 of the wizard has a Publish Hour Window in UTC. Pick a start hour and an end hour and Post Planner schedules each post at a random minute inside that window so your feed does not look algorithmic.
How do you prevent the AI from hallucinating facts about my brand?
Post Planner grounds every post against your brand profile, applies a banned-terms filter, and runs a fact-check pass before publishing. You can audit every post in the dashboard before it ships if Draft mode is enabled.
Do you train AI models on my content?
No. Your brand profile, generated posts, and plan inputs are never used for model training. Content is purged from prompt logs after 30 days per our data processing policy.
Can I cancel a plan mid-way?
Yes. Cancel any active plan from the dashboard and unused credits return to your balance immediately. Posts already generated stay published; future-scheduled posts are removed.
Stop writing blog posts by hand. Let Post Planner ship the next 30 days for you.
Connect your WordPress site, pick a brand profile, set your schedule and step away.
