I'm up for a contract renewal with my carrier (AT&T) pretty soon and am finally taking the plunge into a Smartphone. I'm interested in an iPhone, but I was wondering whether it's worth the extra $100 to get a 5 vs a 4s.

Given all the recent stories about problems with the new model does anyone have any advice as to whether the new version is worth the extra money?
