I know there are two tools which can help you recover your lost partition:
If you want to directly recover the partition with all data, try EASEUS Partition Recovery (Free) ;
If you only want to recover the data in the lost partiton, try Data Recovery Wizard.
Both are useful.

Windows guest OS won't launch after one use in VMWare
My operating system is Windows 7, and there are 2 harddisks. I installed VMware Workstation with Windows 7, Windows Vista, and server 2003.
