I know there are two tools which can help you recover your lost partition:
If you want to directly recover the partition with all data, try EASEUS Partition Recovery (Free) ;
If you only want to recover the data in the lost partiton, try Data Recovery Wizard.
Both are useful.

How about the dynamic volume resizing feature of Disk Management
I think Windows7 is good, but the resizing feature seems to be a little bit limited, including dynamic volume, anyone here could tell other alternative ways! -
