Hi all,
This has been racking my brains for sometime. I am trying to view CGI scripts via a web browser using tomcat5.5 as the webapp server. In both cases I'm trying to implement the webapp on both Windows and Ubuntu.

I am currently trying to code HTML and perl to upload a file (using input type="file") from a local PC and onto a remote UNIX server. The web application is located on the remote UNIX server.
I understand that I would have to SFTP the file to the remote UNIX server and that I could either script Perl using

Hi Jeff thanks for the notice...I'm fairly new to this forum and haven't used it much. I'll avoid doing that again...it was partly because Joao had the exact issue I did. I know CPAN installs the dependencies for you. It seems to fail on the same dependency that Joao mentions. On further investigation it seems that directories are missing. Since Joao had the same issue and resolved it I thought he might be able to... -
