firstly thanks for reply, yes i checked the setting of the IIS and activated now i dont know how to figure out this problem, should i need to install XP for IIS. guide me plz.

Http error 404 not found: unable to access local host on vista home basic
HI
I am using window vista home basic in my laptop and already activated the option of IIS from windows feature turn on/off but when I tried to execute the local host it gives me server error in application default web site error of 404 not found. Kindly tell me what should I do to execute IIS 7 properly in my system.
