Reference Control from a different form
All-
I would like to be able to call a query from a diaglog (form) when a value is selected from a dropdown (combo box). The for mentioned form will pop up when a user selects on of three buttons. Within the onchange() of the pop diaglog box I would like to set a IF condition to see which of the buttons from the previous form was clicked. Can anyone help?

Update Foriegn Key
I have two tables, Company and Opportunity. Company table has two columns CompanyID (autonumber) primary key and Company.
Opportunity table has OpportunityID (autonumber) primary key CompanyID , Industry and Contact. The relationship between the two tables is a one to many (1Company to Many Opportunities). I appended new records to the company and opportunity table. The problem is i have is updating the opprotunity table such that... -

Appending Records To Different Tables
All-
I have two tables, A(Company) and B(Owner). I want to import the excel sheet into a temp table. Second I want to write two append queries that will append records to the company table and a query to append records to the owner table the relationship is one to many. Both tables are set for auto numbering. My problem is that when I do the append and view the data through my form I'm not getting matching records.

Thank you for your response. That is exactly what i have designed! I have a front end and a backend. Then if the front end is stored on say 5 user machines then when the user goes to open the front end .mdb will he/she have to go:
1. Tools, Database Utilities, Linked Table Manager
2. Select all etc...
each time the want to use the application? Or is that a one time deal?

I want to import excel data that is on one excel worksheet into my access database that has 5 tables in a relational format. I'm not sure how to do an import in such a way that I can import the data to the corresponding tables in access. Is there a way to import all the data into multiple talbes in one pass?

I have one box tha is a drop down with numeric values. I have a second textbox that has a percentage value. I'm trying to set a condition based on the first dropdown box that when the value changes, the second textbox will be updated with the appropriate value.
Dropdown - Textbox 'Class'
Values 0,1,2,3,4,5,6
Textbox 'Likeihood of sale'
Values 100,90,33,20,5, 0,0

One other question. If you have a relation data schema, how do you facilitate a import of data from one excel spread sheet to populate multiple tables?
