I apologize for this q in advance as I'm new and just installed apache.
I installed the latest version off of apache.org. If I test the configuration by going to test Configuration, the black window comes up and disappears quick. The monitor comes up fine. However, if I start apache, it sits there at a black window and 2 instances of httpd.exe come up in task manager. When I try to go to http://localhost it times out.

I'm a newbie at apache. But http://localhost is going to bring up the default apache page to let you know that your apache software is running correctly. If you want to go directly to an html page, go to that directory and open it up as usual.
