indenting of numbering data

    indenting of numbering data

    hai experts..

    in my Data report the indent looks like this..

    1. blah blah blah blah
    blah blah blah blah

    what should i do to make it indents properly like this..

    1. blah blah blah blah
    -->blah blah blah blah

    Separate the control into two. One for the number and the other for the data.

      i can do for the data but how can i generate numbers based on my data?

        Your question was about indenting. Numbering is a new question. We only allow on question per thread so please create a new thread for that.

          i think it's still related with "indenting of NUMBERING DATA". But it's ok I will create new thread for that..:)

            The phrase indenting of numbering data is a vague phrase that can mean:

            1) Indenting data that is already numbered.
            or
            2) Numbering data that is already indented.
            or
            3) Numbering and indenting data that has neither.

            The text of your first post implies that your question is referring to number 1. But it would be fine to ask either 1 or 2. But not 3 because that is two separate questions and the posting guidelines state that we only allow one question per thread. The reason for this is so that other people who stumble upon the thread will see only responses that is relevant to their question.
