    "automation error library not registered"

    hi all:
    My program ran normally in winxp, but in win7, error occurred when program wanna add vbstring to cdo. Prompted "automation error library not registered". Hv tried regsvr32 scrrun.dll, it was useless. Appreciate for any reply, thanks.

      Can you expand on what "useless" means in this context? For instance, did it say it was already registered? Doesn't exist? Something else?

      Also, what version of VB are you using? Do you have the source, or only the executable application?

          1. “useless” means the dll existed, and was registered successfully, but cannot solve the issue.
          2. using VB6
          3. issue occurred when program read src which contained "vbstring"
          4. this issue only existed in win7, it is fine in winxp
