    VB6 Help files

As I am just beginning VB6 and have had much help from those of you here in
the news groups (and I do appreciate it greatly) I would prefer to do a
little more research on my own before asking. Many times I have been
suggested to read the MSDN web site and believe it or not I have spent some
hours going through this with little success. I am sure the my problems
with MSDN are due to lack of experience and in time I will find the web site
more helpful. I guess what this email is about is asking that some one out
there send me a copy of their VB6 help files. I do own a copy of Visual
Studio 6 that I got from my school however one of the CD ghost images is
messed up and I am unable to install it. I also own a legal copy of Visual
Basic Working Model which does not come with help

I hope that this is not asking too much of anyone and I would not want
anyone to do anything against their conscience.

    Thank you
    Eric in Tampa

    Re: VB6 Help files

I just looked on Amazon.com, and several copies of MSDN, circa 1999 - 2001, are
for sale for $20.25 plus shipping. Not a bad deal for something that is indeed
essential for doing VB - I use it daily.
(My copy is from work, I can't mess around with it).
