    Menu Highlighting

Hi Everyone. I have a menu. We'll call it File. It has a number of
options under it, such as open, close, exit, etc. One of my options is
disabled and grayed out. That's good. The thing is, when I click on
the File menu and drag my mouse down the list of options, it highlights
all of them, even the disabled option. Is there a way to hide the blue
highlight line when it passes over a disabled menu item?

    Thanks.

That's not unusual... that is the way all menus work in Windows, so it will
not bother your user any (and note that you cannot select a grayed out item
    anyway).

True enough. It's just that in some applications it doesn't highlight
over the disabled item. No biggie. I've got a bigger question
though... It's in the next thread. :-)

      Thanks.
