Insted of user interface what are the additional features of wpf for which we should use wpf instead of windows applications

There is a lot of discussion on this topic all over the internet and blog posts. I was looking for an article i saved somewhere from Microsoft developer blog who worked on WPF and he stated that it isn't a replace all for windows forms, but instead its a tool to add to your tool kit. You should use it in some situations and not in others. Research out WPF and what your project goal is and see if you will benefit from the features of using WPF.Comment
