Ok, I know this has been asked about a million times but it looks like it
was never answered. I'm currently running slackware 9.1 (linux kernel
1.4.22) and I'm using cups 1.1.19 and I'm using java sdk 1.4.2_01.
When I try to print I get: "No print service found."
Has anybody been able to solve this? Has anybody ever been able to print in
java?
I've read that it might have something to do with the /etc/printcap file
(which I don't have btw, but I created an empty one). Somebody also
mentioned setting a $printer variable, but doesn't explain much either. Can
I get an answer that works and then have it published somewhere that is
easy to find for everybody else to see.
Thanks.
Miguel.
