local host not accessible

    local host not accessible

    i have just installed apache tomcat 5.5. when i call it in my browser, http://localhost/ nothing happens, even when i use my IP adress, still nothing happens.

    i have also installed mysql 5, php 5. how do i link all these together to get them working, for development.

      Have you made sure that your apache server is running? You can start it using:

      Code:
      /usr/sbin/apachectl start
      Also, for getting php working with apache, there are plenty of documents on this if you just simply search google. I would ensure that you had mysql installed prior to the php installation though.

          Tomcat is an implementation of the Java servlet and JSP specifications.
          Perhaps you wanted the Apache server ?

              Hi,

              Please check the port where the Apache tomcat is running in conf/server.xml and open page using

              http://localhost:8027


              If the server is running on 8027.
