Display Your Pride

Every June, U of T’s three campuses celebrate Pride Month and U of T Pride with the annual Display Your Pride event. Browse below to learn about the winners, honourable mentions, and other entries from across the tri-campus for our 2025 contest.

2025 Competition Winners

Innis College

“Innis College and Out@Innis are displaying our Pride with 300 hand-folded stars. Suspended in our college lobby, these stars evoke the “constellation model” of gender. We aim to advance our understanding beyond binaries and spectrums and reflect the multifaceted, multidimensional nature of gender.”

Innovation Hub, Student Life

“The Innovation Hub team came together to create a collaborative art piece that felt distinctly us—a vibrant iHub Pride sign, decorated with a garden of hand-crafted, blossoming flowers made from colorful pipe cleaners. Students and staff sat side by side, getting crafty, laughing, and choosing colors that reflected not just aesthetics—but care, joy, and identity. The space was filled with warmth, and the process of creating something together reminded us how deeply Pride is rooted in presence, participation, and shared intention.”

2025 Honourable Mentions

Faculty of Arts & Science

We are proud to celebrate and support the 2SLGBTQ+ community through our participation in the annual University of Toronto #DisplayYourPride photo contest. This year, the organizing committee received over 85 photo submissions from A&S students, faculty and staff, who took creative portraits to contribute to these vibrant photo murals in Sid Smith Hall. Featuring all 11 colours of the Progress Pride flag, the theme adopted for the mural is “We Belong”.
