Empowering Our Communities, Protecting Our Dreams.

Mission. PODER of Idaho organizes and empowers the Latinx and immigrant communities in Idaho for social, racial, gender, and economic justice. Our commitment, shared power, and cultural richness serve as pillars for our undeterred journey towards a more equitable world.

About. PODER of Idaho (Protecting Our Dreams, Empowerment, and Resilience) is a dynamic and forward-thinking social justice organization dedicated to promoting diversity, equality, and social justice in Idaho. Young activists founded PODER of Idaho in 2016 with the intention of saving the DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program. Since then, PODER has expanded its scope to include advocacy, research, educational, and collaborative efforts in Idaho.
