This week, we have:
The D_D Cloud CLI tool
Web3 user acquisition tips on DevNTell
An Arbitrum hackathon
D_D Cloud has released a nifty command-line tool to streamline how you interact with the D_D Cloud platform directly from your terminal.
dd-cloud CLI is a lightweight Rust-based CLI that lets developers quickly authenticate with D_D Cloud and manage their cloud credentials without leaving the command line.
🔑 Manage API keys – Generate, retrieve, and delete your D_D Cloud API keys with simple commands.
📊 Usage Tracking – Check how many API calls you’ve made within your current billing cycle.
🛠 Terminal-first Workflow – Perfect for developers who prefer working in a shell environment.
D_D Cloud is encouraging the community to:
🍴 Fork the repo
🧪 Use the CLI in real workflows
🐛 Report issues and edge cases
✨ Contribute features and fixes.

This week on DevNTell, we are joined by Mac Budkowski, a seasoned founder and Web3 startup consultant. Mac has helped to craft communication strategies for companies like Intel, IKEA, Pfizer, PepsiCo, and MasterCard, and has also
helped web3 companies grow in the Ethereum ecosystem. Mac brings a wealth of experience to the startup scene.
Viewers of this DevNTell will learn about go-to-market strategies to help you find users for your product. Register here to get notified when the show starts.

Arbitrum Open House 2026 is a multi-stage builder program designed to help Web3 teams take projects from early ideas through to launch. Rather than a single hackathon, it's structured as a longer journey that combines online building, in-person collaboration, and post-program support within the Arbitrum ecosystem.
The program is split into several phases, each focused on a different stage of product development:
Build Phase (Online Buildathon)
Running from January 29, 2025, to February 19, 2026, this phase is fully online. Participants can form new teams or join existing ones to develop their ideas. During this period, teams receive guidance from experienced contributors, work on shaping and building their projects, and have opportunities to gain early traction and recognition.
Ship Phase (IRL Founder House – New York City)
The in-person portion takes place in New York City from March 5–8, 2026. Selected teams work side by side with mentors, ecosystem partners, and other builders. The focus here is on refining products, making final improvements, and preparing projects for wider exposure, while also building real-world connections.
Demo Day
After the build and ship phases, teams present their products live. This includes showcasing projects to venture capital firms, ecosystem leaders, and potential partners, with an emphasis on clear product storytelling and real use cases.
Ongoing Arbitrum Mentorship
Top-performing teams continue to receive mentorship after the main program. This includes guidance on growth, access to potential funding opportunities, and longer-term support for teams aiming to build and scale within the Arbitrum ecosystem.
Developers building on Arbitrum
Founders with Web3 or blockchain project ideas
Teams preparing to ship a product
Builders and innovators looking to grow within the Arbitrum ecosystem
Overall, the program is positioned as a structured path for Web3 builders who want sustained support beyond a short-term event, combining online collaboration with in-person execution and follow-through.

Incredibly, Ethereum is now 10 years old! All great things require time to mature, and, amazingly, it took a decade for an RPC option like D_D Cloud to emerge.
We're putting the final touches on the first-ever hybrid cloud built for web3, and it’s almost showtime. Want front-row seats when the doors open?

Coinbase is temporarily pausing its peso-based fiat services in Argentina, effective after January 31, 2026. This means users will no longer be able to buy or sell USDC with Argentine pesos or withdraw funds to local bank accounts.
The company has given customers a 30-day window to complete any remaining peso-related USDC transactions and withdrawals, while emphasizing that crypto-to-crypto trading, sending, and receiving digital assets will continue uninterrupted, with customer funds remaining safe.
On-chain investigator ZachXBT reported an ongoing exploit affecting hundreds of wallets across multiple Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible networks, including Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain. The attacker has drained small amounts from each victim, typically under $2,000, resulting in total losses of around $107,000 as of early January 2026, with the figure continuing to rise. The hack appears to involve sporadic, low-value transfers to a single receiving address, and the root cause remains unidentified, though some suspect links to phishing or prior wallet vulnerabilities.
Most losses occurred on Ethereum ($55,000), followed by BNB Smart Chain ($25,000), spanning about 20 different EVM chains. The exploit is described as a broad, low-profile attack designed to avoid detection, and ZachXBT flagged it via Telegram on January 1, 2026.
U.S. forces captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife in a large-scale military strike on Caracas overnight on January 3, 2026, with President Trump announcing that Maduro was flown to the U.S. to face drug and weapons charges. The operation led to massive payouts on prediction markets like Polymarket, where a newly created account bet around $32,000 on Maduro being out of power by January 31, turning it into over $400,000 in profits as shares jumped from low single-digit cents to near $1 after the news broke.
Democratic Rep. Ritchie Torres plans to introduce the Public Integrity in Financial Prediction Markets Act of 2026, which would ban federal officials, appointees, and executive employees from trading on prediction markets involving government policy or political outcomes if they have material nonpublic information, extending the STOCK Act rules to these platforms. The bill, already in development, gained urgency from the suspicious timing of the Venezuela bets, amid broader concerns over insider trading on sites that saw over $44 billion in volume in 2025.
