I’m Sam, and this is the home of my projects, writings, and good fun. I love all things computers and software, especially in the GNU Linux and open source world. At the start of 2025 I decided to turn my passion for computers into my career, starting with studying cyber security and learning to program. I’m also a hip hop head (my first musical memory is Cypress Hill’s Black Sunday), a Buffalo Bills fan, and ex-logistics guy of 15 years.
Here’s what I’m currently focused on:
- building an open source API for Australian weather from scratch,
- maintaining an AUR package for the Helium browser,
- tinkering with gleemacs my personal GNU Emacs config,
- this website: self-hosted for $3/month on trusty Debian stable with
nginxand built withhugo.
You can read more about me and my projects on the about page.
Look Mum, I’m on the internet!
