As the name suggests, the <i>Platial<\/i> Analysis Lab pulls apart the concept of <i>place<\/i>, taking a data-driven and behavioural approach to understanding the dimensions that contribute to how we understand and explain the world around us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 1.1em;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/platial.science\/portfolio\">research themes <\/a>of our members range considerably, but current efforts focus on:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 1.1em;\">\u2022\u00a0 Urban and spatial data science<br \/>\u2022\u00a0 Human mobility and activity patterns<br \/>\u2022\u00a0 Location privacy and security<br \/>\u2022\u00a0 Analytical and behavioural geographic science<br \/>\u2022\u00a0 Neighbourhood and vague regional boundary delineation<br \/>\u2022\u00a0 Geographic knowledge
