So java_fiend and I are signing up for Gishwes, which is short to the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen. We have a team, Superbeastros (it's a nickname for Annabelle referencing a Rob Zombie song because we're dorks). We'd love to have our friends join us, and you don't have to be local to us to do so. In fact, it's probably better to get people from all over the world.

It requires some creativity and you can't be afraid to make a fool of yourself, but the experience sounds awesome. It's $19 (there are scholarships for some folks who can't afford to pay).

A lot of the challenges are apparently focused on random acts of kindness and proceeds from the hunt are for a charity that builds schools and orphanages. So while it's fun, it's also meant to inspire people to do nice things for others.

Oh yeah, the prize is a trip to Croatia where the winners will travel via a pirate ship. That sounds really cool.

So if you want to join, I'll send you an invite. We can have 13 more people on our team. They'll combine teams if we don't have enough people, but it would be cool to set up our own in advance :)
