Template Manager

1 min read

The Template Manager is a powerful design engine within PistonUI that allows you to break free from your theme’s default layouts. Use it to build custom site parts and apply them globally across your website.

1. Custom Site Parts #

The Template Manager allows you to create and manage the following layouts:

  • Header: Design a unique global header for your site’s navigation.
  • Footer: Build custom footers with multiple columns, social links, and copyrights.
  • Single Post/Page: Create a specific look for individual blog posts or pages.
  • Archive Pages: Design the layout for your category, tag, and search result pages.
  • Special Sections: Build reusable sections (like CTA banners or team sections) that can be inserted anywhere via shortcodes.

3. How to Create a New Template #

  1. Navigate to PistonUI > Template Manager.
  2. Click the “Add New” button at the top of the page.
  3. Select Type: Choose the type of template you are creating (Header, Footer, Single, etc.).
  4. Name Your Template: Give it a clear title (e.g., “Main Website Header”).
  5. Edit with Elementor: Launch the Elementor editor to build your design from scratch or using PistonUI widgets.

4. Why use the Template Manager? #

  • Complete Creative Freedom: You are no longer limited by the “Header” or “Footer” options provided by your WordPress theme.
  • Lightweight Performance: Like our widgets, the Template Manager is built to be fast, only loading the styles for the specific templates you have published.
  • Consistency: Ensure your branding remains identical across every single page of your site.
