It means that you must make extremely good icons to get in to this community! We don't want pixel fonts (unless used right), we don't want icons with bad cropping and nasty effects, we don't want icons using templates, etc. We're also extremely picky XD.
Sure, you've seen communities like this. But what makes this one different, you ask? Well, you can make posts not containing icons. You can post tutorials, caps, brushes, and anything else to aid in each others icon making, but in order to post those things, you need to get in, and have good icons as well. We're not going to let you in solely based on your caps, or your brushes. We also have a weekly(most of the time) icon challenge where we'll post a cap or a lyric for you to make an icon out of.
We have no problem with beginners, but we want you here after you've gotten good. Apply once you've gotten the feel for icon making and are making extraordinary ones!

request_4_icons2. No bases unless posted with other icons. Icons without text are ok, but not a 100x100 picture.
3. Fanart is a no-no. 'Tis way to risky. It can cause some disgruntled artists, and you know, I don't blame them.
4. If you post more than 3 icons, LJ-cut, or post an outside link to an icon post in your own journal.
5. When you apply, please make your subject "Pimpin' Ain't Easy" so we know you read the rules.
6. If you don't get accepted, don't get flamey, or angry. Try again and maybe then you'll get in XD.
7. If posting slashy, scary, disturbing, or any other form of conterversial icon, please cut, with a warning.
8. DO NOT! I REPEAT! DO NOT COMMENT IN OUR PERSONAL JOURNALS TO APPLY! IT ONLY HURTS YOUR CHANCES!
