By day they are raw wood and geometry. By night they ignite. This year the Galaxy Courtyard blooms into Habitats: two massive water lilies designed by Matt Thomas and Chris Cardoza and built by Blackbird Public Arts, glowing on the blacktop and built for the night.

Two wooden porches rise in the fields at Pickathon’s arrival and departure points, each a facade without a building and an entry to an open horizon. The Long Porch welcomes every traveler to Pendarvis Farm, then journeys onward to a new life in the community.
