Organizing my thoughts, again.

I think most of my creativity has fallen into a bit of rut recently. Can't seem to get in the mood to get back to this silly idea I seem to like about two mischievous deities who meet and go into a feudal sort of conflict. Well, that's one part of my idea. The other part involves characters from video games I've been bouncing around with interacting with each other. (Because I often find that fun to do.) It's supposed to be some kind of amusing fanfiction thing. I'm positive that it will turn out entertaining if I keep at it.

I guess I just can't seem to get my creative thoughts out very well this week. Not just with my writing, but with my music too. This one instrumental I just started one night at random was going pretty good, and then somewhere towards the end I mess up. Trying to come up with the right beats and stuff to finish the new project up, but the whole thing ended up being more like noise than music. So, I might have to start all over again. I LIKE the three beats I found and put together. It sounds very good. I just feel I have to do different synth pads, instruments, and sound effects (maybe) with them.

Des, I managed to finish listening to part 1 of your INTJ-INTP speech without too much interruption, and heard about halfway through the second part. So far it's been very interesting, and amusing to listen to you both tell your stories about each other, how the two of you are together. So far, I can understand the connection, the click into place that makes you and Chris a loving couple.

I shall get back to that soon!

I also intend to add that through YouTube, there was this young woman who was reading some questions from an online forum. She answered them to share around others to define her personality type. I put "ISFJ" into the search box (to which I found out was my type through the personality quiz link I posted a while back) and I found this video. So far it's been interesting, and I find out I do agree with some of the things she says about herself and other people.

I think I'll try this questionnaire thing out tomorrow. I wrote down the 13 questions from this message board page into one of my notebooks. I'll make the video and put it up later, because that seems very interesting. I already started thinking about my answers to some of the questions.

Last but not least, it's a shame that the boardgaming meetup group over at Deale, MD is done. Pierce would rather fall back to this strategic World War II game he's enjoyed ever since he was 15. He's played it dozens of times before and went to tournaments. He just hasn't been overall happy about the turnout. Honestly, I'd be absolutely fine in playing with a group that never has usually from a few to five people. Having too many (like over twenty to thirty people) would likely be overwhelming. I'm thinking it was probably a very large group turnout that Pierce was hoping for, and it never happened. Some people in the Deale group came and enjoyed their time once, but never came back after that.

I might have to start a board/card/tile/game meetup group over at my store during the day on Saturdays. I know I could clear off one of the tables because there's not a whole lot of books on it and have it go from noon to 4PM or 5PM? On Friday nights at the meetups it goes from 7PM to 11PM. If I start my own meetup group, it could bring more people into my store and they'll see that I've got a wide selection of books that are mostly 1 dollar or 3 dollars, in case they'd be interested in buying them.

So, the more I think about that, the more I'll end up doing it. I need to find a community around here or just to go boardgamegeek.com and locate the Southern Marylander gamers.
