Andrew Kopec

I am an associate professor of English at Purdue Fort Wayne, where I teach classes in American literature to 1900 and in the General Education program. I am completing my first book, covering the topic of business and antebellum US literature, and am in the initial stages of a new project on the "internal improvements" or infrastructure of the C19 US and their entanglements in the ongoing social and ecological crises of American empire.
