So I just went over to PB to start downloading the images for my layout onto my computer so I could move them. Every album is gone. Says that I have 287 pictures there in all but I can access none of them.

Since I've changed anything on my journal. What do you think? Which header do you like the best?

I've been busy with a lot of volunteer and charity work. I made this for myself. I normally don't keep what I make I usually give it away.
I liked this pattern a lot. I might make a few more.

Hello everyone. Just got a email from All Romance Ebooks. Seems like quite a few of the sites I buy ebooks from are closing up. It's gotten to the point now that I almost exclusively buy my books from Amazon.
If you have bought from ARE you might want to go archive your library before the 31st. That's right they only gave us 4 days.

I've been away for a long time. My hard drive died, and I lost all my files and programs. I'm still here though. I'll check in again soon.

I just purchased the long awaited third book in the series. "Kings Rising"
I'm debating if I should re-read this series from the beginning again before I start this one. It was hard getting into the first book, but once I started it I couldn't put it down. It was the same with book two. It's been a little over a year though, and I think a re-read is in order.
From Book 1: Damen is a warrior hero to his people, and the rightful heir to the throne of Akielos, but when his half brother seizes power, Damen is captured, stripped of his identity, and sent to serve the prince of an enemy nation as a pleasure slave.
Beautiful, manipulative and deadly, his new master Prince Laurent epitomizes the worst of the court at Vere. But in the lethal political web of the Veretian court, nothing is as it seems, and when Damen finds himself caught up in a play for the throne, he must work together with Laurent to survive and save his country.
For Damen, there is just one rule: never, ever reveal his true identity. Because the one man Damen needs is the one man who has more reason to hate him than anyone else . . .

It's been a while since i posted one. I set a short goal for myself this year, only 75 books. I'm 92% there.

So it must be the tablet. Going to uninstall and reinstall it to see if it will work.

Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my tablet and still get the same results. Works fine on my phone though. Now I know. :)

I have both a Nook, and a Kindle. Today while trying to delete a app from my kindle, I had to chat with Amazon customer service. I must say that the difference in dealing with Barnes and Noble customer service and Amazon customer service is like night and day. I have pretty much given up on the Nook, and the only reason I still use it is because I have a few books on there that I would have to re-buy the entire series if I wanted to add them to my Kindle.
Kindle customer service has Nook customer service beat by a mile. Right now I am one happy Amazon Kindle customer.

A Clean Break by Keira AndrewsMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
Amazing! Outstanding! I love it!
Book 2 in Keira's Gay Amish Romance series! If I could give it 10 stars I would. My only complaint is that it has a cliff hanger ending. I didn't know this, and really it didn't matter to me. I had to read it as soon as it came out. Some of you may want to wait for the third book in the series.
But seriously, SPRING! I have to wait to find out what is going to happen between Isaac and David till spring.
*sighs*
I can be patient.

As much as I love this particular author, I don't think I will be reading this book when it is re-released. Just because of this part of the blurb.
Kit’s a music producer who used to do the singing himself. He was quite the star, actually, until an accident in his tour bus took whipped out nearly his entire band. Kit didn’t come out it unscathed, though. Along with emotional scars, he lost both legs and hasn’t sung a note since.
I don't know who does their proof reading, but this should of been caught. It makes me wonder what the rest of the book is like.

I've been really busy this past year. I've been doing a lot of volunteer work. I've also been busy crocheting. I've sold a few pieces this year. Right now I have 3 projects going at the same time. I'm hoping to get them done soon.
Above all I'm still reading. I met my goal last year of 100 books for the year. This year I set a goal of 75 books, and will up it if I reach that amount to soon. I've read 8 books so far this year. I think I'm slowing down. Lol....
So far this year I've read the Home series by Kris Ripper. "Going Home", "Home Free", "Close to Home" and "Home for the Holidays". It was a pretty good series, and they can be found over at Smashwords. Others that I've read, "Fixing A Hole" by Katherine Halle can be found over at Dreamspinner. "Wishing Waiting and Hoping" by Nick Starr is a self published book, and can be found at Amazon. A few others, also found at Amazon. "Lab Rat" by Ana J. Phoenix, "Yours" by Kim Alan and "Unintended" by M.J. O'Shea.
Most of these can be found on Amazon. The publishers that I Visited were Dreamspinner and Samhain.
( And now for a listCollapse )
