CMHA PEI Learning, Training, and Support Hub

The semester-based calendar for the CMHA-PEI Learning, Training, and Support Hub is released bi-annually. Courses and sessions are free and available to anyone who wishes to participate.​ If you have questions regarding our Learning Hub sessions, contact our Education team at [email protected].

School-Based Programs

CMHA PEI Community Educators present the I’m ThumBody Program to grade three students across the Island. I’m Thumbody is a self-esteem program targeted to children in grade three.  It’s delivered by trained volunteers and promotes mental health by teaching about self-esteem and emotional awareness.  It is offered to all public school grade three classrooms.  READ MORE

The ACTT for Life (ACTT) workshop is a suicide awareness and response workshop designed to empower youth with knowledge, skills and tools about mental health and suicide. The aim is to have youth better equipped to manage their own mental health and be effective helpers to friends who may be experiencing mental health struggles or thoughts of suicide. Read the ACTT info sheet to learn more. CMHA’s Family Program: Finding Hope & Building Strength

Offered Fall and Spring annually, The Family Program: Finding Hope & Building Strength is a free 8-week course designed to educate, support, and equip individuals who have a loved one living with a mental health concern. Join us for conversations around understanding your loved one’s experience and exploring treatment and community resources. We also learn and practice skills around self-care, boundaries, communication, and de-escalation.
